Uplift buyer disclosure
Current Uplift configuration · Last reviewed July 28, 2026
The signed Uplift installer includes a compiled application runtime. A first installation may download a container runtime, downloads two third-party container images, and downloads two local AI models. Expect more than 10 GB of network downloads plus the installer itself and additional working and storage space. Administrative privileges and internet access are required.
desktop.docker.com. Linux downloads Docker's convenience script from get.docker.com, which configures Docker's package repository and installs Docker Engine and Compose.chromadb/chroma:0.5.4 and ollama/ollama:latest. Uplift retags these locally under Mesperlon names.nomic-embed-text, currently approximately 274 MB, and gemma4, whose current default is approximately 9.6 GB.Exact transfer sizes vary by operating system, architecture, cache, mirror, and model variant. Updates may download replacement images, packages, models, patches, or installers. Cached components are reused when possible.
The Uplift subscription does not include a Docker subscription. Docker states that Docker Desktop is free for personal use, education, non-commercial open source, and small businesses with fewer than 250 employees andless than USD 10 million in annual revenue. Government entities and larger organizations require a paid Docker subscription for professional Docker Desktop use. The buyer is responsible for its Docker entitlement. Uplift's automatic Windows setup targets supported Windows 10 or 11 systems with WSL 2 and hardware virtualization; Docker Desktop does not support Windows Server. The current Uplift runtime reserves up to 14 GB of memory. Review Docker's Desktop license terms and Windows requirements.
The installer download and installation can contact Mesperlon/Vercel storage, Docker and Docker Hub, Docker-configured Linux repositories, and Ollama's registry and their CDN providers. These providers necessarily receive ordinary download metadata such as public IP address, requested artifact, timestamp, and client information. Corporate firewalls must allow the applicable destinations. After installation, the models run locally; normal Uplift processing does not use a hosted inference API.
These versions come from Uplift's current locked requirements. Each package remains subject to its own license and notices.
